Obstruction or Not?

This article talks about a law keeping all items off of rearview mirrors in cars and that the government is considering changing this law. So that police would only pull drivers over for things that would obstruct a driver’s view of the road.

"Unless it's large and an obvious obstruction, it's just silly for police to pull somebody over for that” Said Steve Purdy. This is an excellent quote because it shows that is ridiculous for cops to pull over someone for something hanging in their car unless it is putting other people in danger.

I disagree with the ban because police have more to worry about than to pull motorists over for having an air freshener hanging on their rearview mirror. Unless it is gaudy and obstructs the driver’s view and puts others into danger it should not matter if there is something small to decorate the vehicle a little.

Mitch Album Article

Mitch Album’s main point is that race does is not a factor for people’s success or failures. I agree with Mitch, race does not affect how a person is. If they’re white or African American they can still be arrogant or kind. People should not blame race when the come into a disagreement or controversy.
Album’s most effective point is when he talks about putting a white person in the same situation LeBron James was in. When pretending that it was someone else one sees that it is the same situation and should feel the same about it because his race should not be a scapegoat for something wrong that he did that was controversial.
